About This Paper
The Daily Superchat reports on VTuber livestreams from Japan and around the world, in English and Japanese.
How it is made
Finished broadcasts are found through Holodex, which indexes VTuber channels by agency. For each one, the paper reads the broadcast's automatic captions and its chat replay, and a machine reporter (Anthropic's Claude) writes the story in both languages from that material alone. Stories are printed without a human editor.
Because the source is automatic captions, quotations can contain transcription errors. Every story links to the original broadcast and marks the moments it describes, so readers can check for themselves.
What it will and won't print
The paper reports only what happened on stream. It does not cover members-only broadcasts, anything a streamer asked viewers not to share or clip, private information, or rumors. Characters are reported as characters. Chat messages are quoted without names, and Super Chats are counted, never totaled in money.
