Mori Calliope Beats Ocarina of Time After a Biggoron Sword Detour
The Hololive English -Myth- member closed out her playthrough of the Zelda classic and named Majora’s Mask as her next game.
HOLOLIVE — Mori Calliope finished The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on her channel, wrapping up a playthrough that ran across several streams. The finale lasted 214 minutes and ended with her saying she had won, and thanking her viewers, whom she calls Deadbeats, for cheering her on.
The session opened with a detour. Calliope followed a step-by-step guide for the Biggoron sword, a long trading quest, and said she was using the guide without shame. The chain took her from a blue cuckoo and an odd mushroom to a poacher’s saw and a broken sword, then to a timed run for eye drops before the Goron smith could finish the blade. She made it to him with 19 seconds left on the clock and collected the sword.
“Anyway, that was The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. We did it. I won.” — Mori Calliope, after the ending
She then worked through the dungeon in Ganon’s tower, clearing the barriers one by one, and brought the Biggoron sword into the final fight. Chat and her own research told her the last blows had to come from the Master Sword, so she swapped back. She called Z-targeting her enemy through the fight and, after Zelda held Ganondorf in place, landed the final strike. She joked that the main strategy was not to use the most powerful sword in the game.
The ending left her bittersweet. She watched Link return to his childhood and said she had half hoped he would stay with Zelda. She noted that the story branches into separate timelines and that the path she took leads to Majora’s Mask.
Chat filled with congratulations at the moment of the win, with 453 messages in that one minute, and 94 paid messages came in during the stream. Calliope said Majora’s Mask would start this month, calling it a spooky-month game, and that she also planned to finish Signalis. She added that Minish Cap would likely follow after Majora’s Mask, and that she intends to play the Ocarina of Time remake when it comes out.
