Mozumi Pichi Spends Two and a Half Hours Drawing Herself in Halloween Costumes

V-DERE — Mozumi Pichi of V-Dere turned a Halloween costume search into a drawing stream on Thursday, sketching her avatar in outfit after outfit for about two and a half hours. She opened a little late, saying the stream needed extra setup because she had to key out elements of the screen and prepare a file to draw on, and that finding a website with costume products had been the hardest part.

She settled on a cosplay shop’s listings, scrolled through them with chat, and picked outfits to try on by drawing them. The first was a garden gnome, after chat joked that she needed to look scary or sexy. She went on to a Dead by Daylight character in a veiled hat, Mavis from Hotel Transylvania, a Joker suit, Jessica Rabbit, Shuten Douji from Fate/Grand Order and Hornet from Hollow Knight. Later came Emil from NieR and, last, 2B from NieR: Automata. Of Jessica Rabbit she said, “Wait, I’m kind of impressed with myself. I did that pretty fast, huh?” She also said she rarely manages to draw anything on these streams because she gets too distracted, and that she liked the shading step best.

Along the way she talked with chat about costumes she would wear herself, including Hololive characters, and about Joker 2. Partway through, she tried to hand out gifted Twitch memberships that she said she had never given away. Nothing showed up on stream, and she said she would send a support ticket to StreamElements. Chat sent seven paid messages over the stream, and viewers were quick to praise the drawings.

Pichi said she might post the outfits after streaming, though not all of them could be shared. She said tomorrow’s stream would be members-only, and that she would be back on Saturday at 7 p.m. Eastern for a mummy ASMR stream, for which she still had to make the model.
