Shirayuki Mishiro Tells Fans to Come to Saturday’s Omihachiman Event Even in Rain
On her morning radio stream, the independent VTuber also said a soundproof booth will pause her streaming for about a week and that a horror game is planned for Oct. 26.
INDEPENDENT — Shirayuki Mishiro, an independent VTuber, used her morning radio stream on Oct. 21 to prepare fans for an in-person event on Saturday, Oct. 24, in Omihachiman, Shiga Prefecture, and urged them to attend despite a rainy forecast. The event, a talk show with one-on-one sessions, is three days away.
She said she will appear alongside Sumi, that the talk show should run a little under an hour, and that fans will line up for the one-on-one sessions. She said plenty of tickets had been prepared and the target attendance had already been passed. The venue is indoors, so the weather matters mainly for getting there. She told one viewer who planned to ride a motorbike to take the train instead, and she urged those heading there to check bus fares and routes in advance. She said she was nervous, in part because local officials and other adults were expected to watch. “Please come even if it rains,” she said.

She also pointed fans to an audio-guide project in the same area, in which her narration plays through a location-based app, and said it will keep running after the event. She has visited the area herself and plans to post a travel vlog on the Roselta channel, which she runs with her partner Shin, along with a second vlog on hotels.
Her schedule for the coming days came next. She said the Roselta channel is tentatively set for a horror-game stream on Oct. 26, now that she and Shin have lined up their schedules. She plans to rest on Oct. 27 and has an isekai role-play ASMR stream planned for Oct. 29. She also said she is leaning toward installing a soundproof booth, with a site visit booked this month, and that streaming will pause for about a week once a date is set.
The 105-minute stream, which began at 6 a.m. Japan time, also covered the meme about fleeting characters, which she said does not suit her, a sour German rose hip and hibiscus tea that she sweetened with honey, and a trivia segment on the day’s anniversaries before she read Super Chats. Messages in chat counted down the days to the event.
