Tsunomaki Watame to Stand In at Hololive Records Live, Singing Her Own Songs
She spoke about the appearance during a seven-hour overnight chat stream that also toasted 1.73 million subscribers.
HOLOLIVE — Tsunomaki Watame, a Hololive 4th Generation talent, said during a chat stream that she will take the place of the captain, a fellow Hololive talent, at a Hololive Records live event, and that she will perform her own songs. She described it as a swap of performers rather than a solo show, and said lessons for the event are now fitting into gaps in her existing schedule.
Watame said she had asked what she was allowed to say and was told she could mention on stream that she would sing her songs. Some people had guessed she would sing the captain’s songs, she said, and she apologized in advance to anyone who came expecting that, asking them to listen to hers anyway. Tickets were on sale, she said, and she believed a streaming ticket was also available. She added that she hopes to stand on stage solo someday.
“I’ll be doing Watame’s songs.” — Tsunomaki Watame, on the Hololive Records live
The stream was a *zatsudan*, or chat stream, held in place of the ARK: Survival session she had thought about doing. She said she wanted to relax, celebrate recent news and talk through a backlog of topics. She also said her schedule would stay crowded through the first half of November, with a recording session and a radio taping on Monday, and that she would take Sunday off to rest her voice.
Around the four-hour mark, viewers noted that her channel had passed 1.73 million subscribers. Watame thanked them, led a toast with whatever drinks people had on hand, and said she was aiming for 2 million, adding that a new 3D outfit is what she currently hopes for. She also said, by her recollection, that the music video for “RESPAWN,” her opening theme for the anime Nia Liston, had passed about 1.13 million views.
She recapped a fishing contest in which she finished last, laughing that she had caught so much trash she had done the most to clean the sea. Viewers sent 58 Super Chats and Stickers, which she read in batches through the night and said she would finish reading later. She closed after about seven hours, saying she planned to stream ARK again from 11 p.m. that night.
