Lucien Lunaris, a virtual talent with FIRST STAGE PRODUCTION’s English-language Avallum generation, closed his first 3D mini live on Monday by performing “Monster,” his second original song. He called it the grand finale of the show and said an official music video would be posted after the stream ended.

The show, titled “Requiem de Lune,” fell on his birthday. He opened with “Dear Yesterday,” his first original song, and told viewers the track had been placed first this year after closing last year’s show. He said he had planned the set around guests and surprises, and he promised that anyone who stayed for about an hour would find out what he had been hinting at all year.

“I’m just happy that three years forward, almost three years forward, I am able to do this.” — Lucien Lunaris, thanking viewers near the end of the show

Guests joined him throughout. After a duet of “Two Creatures” with the first guest, he followed with two solo songs, including “Jane Doe,” which he said he had long wanted to perform live. He then sang “Two Crowns” with Rosco, the second time the two had performed it; chat greeted Rosco by name as the song began. A later duet with Hakka, which Lucien said he had spent about three years trying to arrange, ended with Hakka introducing themself as an exorcist. Usan came on stage afterward, and the two spoke warmly about performing together again after more than a year. Lucien said Usan has long been an inspiration to him.

Lucien said “Monster” was meant to be read closely, and that listeners could interpret the lyrics as they chose. He said the music video had been in the works for a long time and was far more elaborate than the live version. He also took a few minutes to show off birthday merchandise before saying goodbye and sending viewers to the video.

Chat was busiest during the opening song, the Two Crowns duet and the Monster reveal, with birthday wishes arriving throughout. The stream drew 74 paid messages, many of them thanks for the concert, and about 23,000 chat messages in all.
