Kamitaba Neruko Floats an Optional One-on-One Fan Event, Says Nothing Is Decided
On a morning chat stream, the Specialite talent said any slots should outnumber demand so that no one feels obliged to join.
SPECIALITE — Kamitaba Neruko, a 4th-generation talent with Specialite, spent part of a 112-minute morning stream thinking aloud about a possible one-on-one event with viewers. She said nothing had been decided and that she was only considering it as a what-if.
Her main worry was how such an event would feel to fans. If there were only a few slots, she said, someone who looked forward to it and then missed out could end up feeling worse than if it had never been offered. She said that if she ever did it, she would prefer far more slots than needed, so that only people who really wanted to take part would sign up. A Super Chat during the stream had asked for the event. Chat also joked that a one-minute chat would leave them speechless, and she said she might act the big sister and then get flustered herself.
“Nothing’s decided, though. It’s just a what-if.” — Kamitaba Neruko, on a possible one-on-one event
The stream was a *zatsudan*, or chat stream, that she began with little planned. She said her throat was much better and her cough was fading. She opened with jokes about how card-game terms such as “tap” and “cut the deck” would sound if taken literally, then moved through McDonald’s seasonal menu items, gym habits, and why walking with other people is easier to keep up. She also took up the idea of introverts and extroverts, saying that people are bright some days and dark on others, and described how a shared interest in Hearthstone once started a conversation with a coworker in a break room.
Later she asked viewers what kinds of streams they liked and said her main focus for now was Yu-Gi-Oh!, with a midday review stream and an evening stream planned. The talk then turned to hairstyle ideas, including a wavy-ended loose style, a bob and a wolf cut, before she and chat spent several minutes on rock-paper-scissors jokes about her channel emotes.
Chat reacted warmly throughout. Viewers filled the opening with greetings, and the close with farewells.
