Kureiji Ollie and Kobo Kanaeru Go From Rhythm Practice to Pokajan in Hololive Dreams
Ollie said she pulled the event’s new Kaela card on her first ten-pull shortly before going live, then spent the hour after the rhythm session in Pokajan rooms open to viewers.
HOLOLIVE — Kureiji Ollie opened Thursday’s Daily Holodori stream in Hololive Dreams with Kobo Kanaeru by telling her partner what had happened before the broadcast: she tried the event banner for the first time, spent one ten-pull and got Kaela on the first attempt.
The pair started with the game’s new event song, which Ollie noted was Kaela’s first in Japanese. They played on keyboard rather than tablet and worked up from the easier difficulties toward hard. Ollie said she was aiming for an all perfect and later admitted she needed more practice on the harder chart. They also worked out that placing the event-banner card in the team, even without making it leader, was enough to earn extra event points.
“I think I scared a few people today.” — Kureiji Ollie, while reading donations at the close
Around the 13-minute mark one of the pair’s runs went wrong on a single note, and chat reacted to Kobo by name. The other player told Kobo it was fine and that Kobo was tired from a week of work. The two also joked about a chat member who had named Kobo as the talent they liked less.
Shortly after 43 minutes they moved to Pokajan, opening room IDs for viewers to join. The matches turned chaotic, with Ollie screaming through several rounds, losing items to other players and, in her words, banning one opponent from her stream after a bad finish. The two said she had still won two matches in a row and taken second place.
Near the end, one of the two announced that Compass Horizon was out, that a Jakarta pop-up was planned and that videos would be posted over the coming days, with the culture team’s and leisure team’s following the food team’s, the last on the 25th. Ollie then read through the donations, noting how many viewers had sent Super Chats, and said her OBS had briefly dropped around the 72-minute mark before reconnecting. She said she planned to eat instant noodles with milk after the stream, that she would probably not stream that night because of deadlines, and that Holodori would continue for a few more days before a break. She signed off by raiding another Holodori streamer.
