Aurel Ophidia Wins the Good Ending, and the Boss’s Chair, in The Mortuary Assistant
The First Stage Production EN streamer had put the goal in his stream title, then stopped for the night with a headache from the game’s blood.
FIRST STAGE PRODUCTION — Aurel Ophidia reached the “mortuary boss” ending of the horror game The Mortuary Assistant about three hours and 19 minutes into a stream that was titled around that very goal. The half-Gorgon artist from First Stage Production EN burned a body to banish the demon, and the game closed on the ending he had been hoping for.
The stream opened with Aurel back from a day off, which he said was needed but had been spent working off-stream. Chat teased him about missing a Minecraft role-play project more than missing them, and when he called viewers needy the jokes escalated into a mock trial of his character. He ended the squabble by telling chat he had missed them. About an hour in, he admitted he kind of hates the sound of his own laugh, and viewers answered with Super Chats saying they loved it. He also talked about wanting an archived karaoke stream, held back by how few Japanese songs he has learned.
“I’m happy with myself. I’m proud. We became mortuary boss, everybody.” — Aurel Ophidia, after the good ending
The game began around 1:24. Aurel wore glasses to look like promotion material and played as the new assistant, signing paperwork, logging a body’s marks on a computer and working through the embalming steps. He said jump scares and chases were fine but that blood was his weak spot, and he squealed through the scalpel and trocar steps. After the boss sent him home and called him back for a night shift decorated for Halloween, he learned to bind a demon to a body and burn it. A clown on the table drew sympathy from viewers, who sent several Super Chats about him. Aurel decided the clown was the culprit, burned it and asked, “Did I win?”
The ending that followed put him in the boss’s seat. Aurel said no other ending would be better, calling it a win since the stream title was the goal, and said he might return to the game or have another talent play it so he could watch the remaining endings. A headache brought the stream to a close shortly after, with chat, which had logged 111 Super Chats and Stickers over the evening, telling him to rest.
Aurel said he would be back the next day at 7 p.m. PDT for FS Fables, which he said had two days left, and that he planned to line up more collabs afterward.
