Kaela Kovalskia rang in partway through, and the call ran about 35 minutes before the drawing resumed.

Raora Panthera spent about five hours on a drawing stream, finishing the line art for an illustration and starting to render it before she stopped for the night with the piece still unfinished. She opened by announcing that the daily Holodori streams were over for now: “No more holo dori. It’s art time.” She later said that run would end in a few days as October closed.

Her usual order of work was to ink, lay down flat colors in placeholder shades she said she would adjust later, and then render. She hunted for a downloaded brush to fill in the flat colors, then spent a long stretch on the accessories, including chains, a belt and several layers of stockings. Looking at the stockings, she apologized to the people who had cosplayed the outfit and had to wear so many layers. Along the way she showed that a button on her tablet pen kept registering presses on its own; the tablet dates from around 2020 or 2021, and she said she was attached to it and did not want to replace it.

“I want to be good at art and one day I will. But until then we need to draw because drawing is fun.” — Raora Panthera, opening the stream

Between strokes she took questions from viewers. She advised building a background from real photographs as references, said she tends to avoid backgrounds herself, and described learning color by color-picking other artists’ palettes. She also said drawing should stay fun unless it is meant to be a career. Viewers sent 29 Super Chats during the stream, and many of them echoed her opening refrain that drawing is fun.

About two and a half hours in, Raora stepped away to refill her water. When she came back, Kaela Kovalskia phoned in, and the two traded bits for roughly 35 minutes: a mock phone order of fried pasta, jokes about a “basement” full of Hololive talents, and a mix-up over similar-sounding names. Kaela left to eat. Raora then talked to another talent offstage with the stream muted before returning. Later, chat seized on her choice of word for a flashlight, and she joked that she would stop speaking and switched to meowing.

On plans, Raora said she wants to return to her Pokemon Emerald run and that Saturday would be an Undertale day. She had mentioned a cooking collaboration, but later said it would not happen this week and would come soon. She said a short stream might follow the next day before she went out. Closing out, she showed the work so far, saying of the line art and a little rendering, “five hours, I take it,” and that she would not finish the piece that day.
