Astel Leda Puts In Five Hours of League of Legends Practice With Teammates and Coach
The session mixed practice games and replay reviews, and ended with a Mayhem-mode win and a 4 p.m. meeting time for the match.
HOLOLIVE — Astel Leda spent about five and a half hours on Thursday night practicing League of Legends with teammates from the LR team and a coach, working through practice games and replay reviews ahead of a team match. URS Tooko also took part.
The stream opened with relaxed talk among the participants, who traded thoughts on fast-food reward points, sweets shops and pets; a dog could be heard barking in the background. The first practice game began about 27 minutes in.
“There’s still more we can do. If the team fights go well, we can win.” — Astel Leda, as the stream wound down
Between games the coach went over the recordings with the group, with advice on controlling vision, pushing lanes before fights and not scattering ahead of team fights. The participants also ran drafts built around facing Nocturne, a champion that came up again and again as the one to prepare for, and talked through what to do when it appears.
After the last practice game the group agreed to meet at 4 p.m. and to check their game clients before the match. The participants then tried Mayhem, a special game mode. A reconnection screen interrupted one game for a moment, and the game ended in a win; one of the participants remarked that it had been a while since their last one.
Astel closed the stream by thanking viewers who sent the four Super Chats, then said good night to chat.
