Nishizono Chigusa Finishes Genshin Impact’s Graiai Questline and Leaves Her Mark in the Game
The Nijisanji streamer also used the stream to look at the game’s preview-show announcement and set a watch-along for Friday night.
NIJISANJI — Nishizono Chigusa, a Nijisanji streamer in the 1eSelene Drama Club, wrapped up the Eye of Graiai series of Genshin Impact world quests on Wednesday, finishing a story she had split over two days because, she said, its dense lore and sweeping setting had overloaded her head the day before. The stream ran about two and a half hours and began in the early afternoon in Japan.
The finale, “The Palace Collapsing in the Blizzard,” took her through a long run of story scenes and a boss fight. She died once to the cold gauge around the 79-minute mark before getting through it. After the last scene she said the whole series had been about love, with each strand of the story pursuing a different form of it before coming together at the end. She called the ending beautifully done.
“I was reminded all over again how much fun world quests really are.” — Nishizono Chigusa, closing the stream
The quest also left a lasting trace in the game. Partway through the fight she found markers placed by other players, including some from her friends in the game, and thanked them for building the path. When the quest was cleared she realized that her own marker would now serve as a foothold for other travelers, and she cheered that she had “made a road” too.
Midway through the stream, Genshin Impact’s official account posted the date of its next preview show. After checking that the image was safe to look at, she reacted to the lineup it showed with obvious delight and told viewers to gather on her channel at 9 p.m. Japan time on Friday, Oct. 23, to watch the broadcast together. She plans to play Act 3 of the current Archon Quest, the game’s main story, that evening and Act 4 the next day.
After the quest she counted the Primogems she has saved for an upcoming character banner, which she said stood at 30,000. She then started another world quest, this one involving gangs in the Snezhnaya region, and stopped after a short stretch to rest before her evening Archon Quest stream. Chat greeted her cold-gauge death with laughter and her marker with a flurry of applause. One Super Chat arrived during the stream.
