Ruroro Walks Through Builds and Pull Advice for Genshin Impact’s Mitya and Valery

The 36-minute guide covered the new 5-star Electro character’s two playstyles, constellations, weapons and teams, and who can skip the pull.

Ruroro, an independent Vtuber, spent a 36-minute stream on build guides for Mitya, the 5-star Electro character arriving in the first half of Genshin Impact version 7.2, and for Valery, the 4-star character featured alongside him. Ruroro said Mitya is the first 5-star character to turn Superconduct into “New Superconduct,” a change that before him was available only to the Cryo characters Sandrone, Odette and the Tsaritsa.

Ruroro described Mitya as a Catalyst user who scales with Elemental Mastery and plays two roles. Tapping his Elemental Skill puts him in an off-field support mode that applies Electro and buffs the team’s Elemental Mastery, while holding it turns him into a main damage dealer that spends stored resources in special Charged Attacks. Ruroro said his field can follow the character, so he can set off New Superconduct without a Cryo teammate. On the downside, Ruroro said his damage depends heavily on how well a rotation is played, and that he resists interruption poorly, so a shield is recommended.

“Mitya is the type of character that requires some practice to get right.” — Ruroro, on the new character’s skill ceiling

Valery, a 4-star Electro sword user, was presented as Mitya’s most suitable partner: a shielder whose buffs favor an on-field New Superconduct Electro character. Ruroro walked through team lines built on the pair, including a lineup with Odette, Valery and Sucrose and a dual-carry setup with the Traveler, and covered talent priorities, constellations, weapons and artifacts for both. Ruroro named Mitya’s signature catalyst as his best weapon and said other weapons bring his damage to about 90% of that, while Elemental Mastery is the main stat to chase on his Sands and Goblet.

On whether to pull, Ruroro said the constellations of a main-damage Mitya matter more than his signature weapon, with C1 and C2 the biggest upgrades. The guide said players who already own Yae Miko at C1 or higher can skip him if they only want off-field Electro application, and that anyone saving for the Cryo Archon due in version 7.3 may reasonably wait. Ruroro added that a player with resources for only one should prioritize the Tsaritsa, who arrives next version, and that Mitya could be picked up on a rerun.
