Hestia Happiness’s Palette Town Night Lasts Three Minutes as Server Closes at 1 A.M.
The independent streamer woke just before the closing notice, then moved on to another GTA session and promised to work on her irregular schedule.
INDEPENDENT — Hestia Happiness, an independent streamer on Twitch, went live in Grand Theft Auto V under the tag Palette Town and saw the server she meant to play on close about three minutes later. She said she had been on the verge of sleep when she got up, and that the first thing she saw on waking was that the server would shut down in three minutes. She had joined the in-game radio to say good morning, she said, and found it awkward to be greeting people that way as the session wound down. “These things happen,” she said, and she ended the session.
A raid of 25 viewers from another streamer’s channel arrived while she was talking, and she greeted them. She said people had told her they were already at the hideout, but with two minutes left she could not reach it, whatever her driving skill. She told the host of the raid that next time they should commit crimes together. The funniest part, she said, was the announcement itself: she did not notice until she was in the game that the server would close at 1 a.m., and she panicked. When chat suggested she had planned it, she said she had not.
“The moment I woke up, I saw the server was ending in three minutes.” — Hestia Happiness, on her short Palette Town session
Chat treated the short night as a feat. Viewers likened it to a speedrun and called her the fastest person in Palette Town. Since three minutes seemed too little, she said she would move on to a different GTA session afterward, and that she wanted to change the YouTube title and thumbnail.
Later, talk turned to her schedule. Asked whether she could keep a fixed one, she said she thought she could not, and that she did not trust herself to either. She said she wants to be at full strength when she streams. She also said she was still eating dinner and planned to chat while she ate, then sleep, wake early, run errands and stream early the next day.
Before signing off, she thanked viewers for watching and commenting, and said she usually streams from around 9 p.m. until around 1 a.m. She said she would try to fix her irregular streaming, though she did not know how many years that might take, and that she would post on X whether she would stream the next day.
