Tokiha Shiu Reaches Estelle and Joshua’s Reunion in Chapter 6 of Trails in the Sky the 2nd

UNIRAID! — Tokiha Shiu of Uniraid! reached the long-awaited reunion of Estelle and Joshua on Sunday, in a first-time playthrough of chapter 6 of Trails in the Sky the 2nd that ran just under six hours. When Joshua stepped in to help during a fight aboard the enemy airship, Shiu said she had spent the whole game wondering how the two would meet again.

The stream opened with a word about health. Shiu said a number of people around her had come down with colds as temperatures swung and a typhoon passed through, and that she had been careful with her own throat after it felt rough the day before. She asked viewers not to push themselves and reminded them the archive would be there. She also spent a few minutes on why she likes story games that leave room for each player’s own reading of a scene.

In the game, Estelle’s party spent a short vacation at a lake resort until a wounded ally drifted in by boat with word of the secret society’s hideout. Shiu weighed her party for some time, settling on a mix of healing, support and damage, then worked through the facility hunting treasure chests and colored card keys. She met allies who had been mind-controlled and fought to bring them back. Estelle was put to sleep and woke aboard the society’s airship, where its leader, known as the Professor, invited her to join. She refused.

A former mayoral secretary then led a squad against Estelle. Shiu said he looked familiar but could not place him, and chat laughed along with her. When Joshua appeared, chat filled with his name. It was one of the chat’s busiest minutes of the evening. Later, Estelle told Joshua she wanted them to walk on together and protect each other. Chat surged again when she asked for a redo of an interrupted moment between the two, and another character walked in before it could play out.

The chapter closed as the society began the next stage of its plan and Estelle’s group set out for the towers. Shiu shopped for equipment and cooked before ending the night, saying she wanted to go on but would hold back. She planned to return Monday at 7 p.m. to visit all four towers.
