Hayato Kagami Carries His One Piece Restaurant From the Starting Sea to Skypiea
He filled the first page of the game’s stamp book less than an hour in and was on its fourth page by the time the restaurant reached the clouds.
NIJISANJI — Hayato Kagami of Nijisanji spent more than four hours on Sunday building up his seaside restaurant, Rafutei, in the One Piece restaurant game, taking it from its opening waters to the sky island of Skypiea in the second session of the series.
The first milestone came a little under an hour in. Kagami fell one point short on the taste score of a set menu around the 53-minute mark, reworked the dishes, and a couple of minutes later cleared the first page of the game’s stamp book. Soon after, he said the restaurant had finally left the starting sea.
“Sorry, but Arlong is really strong.” — Hayato Kagami, during the closing battle
From there the customer list grew with each region. Bon Clay turned up at the 1 hour 15 minute mark, Vivi arrived with the Alabasta arc, and Kagami spent long stretches rearranging tables, rugs and decorations to raise the comfort rating that draws regulars. The first half of the Grand Line was cleared about two and a half hours in. A training room later brought Mihawk to the restaurant, and after a few hours of tinkering Kagami sailed for the sky island, where Enel, Wiper and Chopper soon joined the guest list.
He closed the night with an in-game battle against Arlong, which he won after a tense exchange of blows. Kagami said the next session would probably open with a fight before the restaurant moved on to its next island.
