Lilian Grimmxandra Debuts Undercover Persona Lianzhi in a Reveal Lowered Step by Step
The new model, a modern take on a Shanghai-style dress with purple lily ornaments, comes with three hairstyles.
AKA VIRTUAL — Lilian Grimmxandra of AKA Virtual introduced Lianzhi, a second persona with a new model and outfit, in a debut stream that ran about 84 minutes. Lianzhi, in the story the stream told, is the undercover form of Lilian’s regular persona, Lili, sent to Macau to catch a criminal by slipping in among the powerful and dropping her police identity.
The reveal itself was staged as a running gag. Lili, speaking from the corner of the screen, kept the new character offstage and insisted that viewers’ small “pungli” treats, Indonesian slang for an illegal levy used here as a joke, were the price of lowering her. Roughly 11 minutes in, Lianzhi’s feet appeared at the top of the frame, and the model came down a little at a time, each step set off by treats from chat and counted aloud. She was fully on screen by about 32 minutes.
“I’m not Lili, I’m Lianzhi.” — Lilian Grimmxandra, during the outfit showcase
Lianzhi wears a dress built from a modern take on a Shanghai-style design, with flower patterns and a custom fan, which Lilian said was found through Pinterest and meant for the high-society parties of the character’s mission. The model has three hairstyles, one of them with purple lily ornaments and a white lily that keeps a link to Lili, and Lilian pointed out the tassel, the collar and the sleeve detail on camera. The art and rigging were credited to Noruna and Grom, whom Lilian called Mama and Papa.
Lilian described Lianzhi as calm and polite rather than loud, and chat kept comparing the two personas. After the reveal, Lilian ran a photo session against a blue screen, zooming in on the details and trying out expressions and full-body poses. The outfit cannot be combined with the other model’s, which is heavier, so collabs may be harder, Lilian said.
Lilian said the two personas will take turns streaming, and promised a free talk after the debut on Monday, when viewers can ask about how the model was made. A Twibbon frame and a hashtag for fan photos were also promised.
