Ray Nanase Streams a Bath Chat, Announces Oct. 29 Tier List With Miko
The 774inc streamer played the stream as an accidental visit to her viewers’ bathroom, then used it to reveal a ‘hakanai’ tier-list collab set for 8 p.m. on the 29th.
774INC — Ray Nanase of 774inc’s Nanashiinku streamed a chat from the bathtub on Sunday, joking throughout that she had wandered into her viewers’ bath by mistake, and used the stream to announce a tier-list collaboration with Miko on Oct. 29.
The stream opened with her already in the water, caught by the camera and quickly ducking down to her shoulders. She told viewers the water was about 39 degrees and said she had been in so long, since morning by her count, that she was starting to feel light-headed. Chat played along, telling her the bath was theirs and asking whether she would get out. She said she had washed first and had not meant to trespass.
The talk wandered from there. Nanase described her usual routine at hot springs, which runs about three hours with several rounds in the sauna, and said she dislikes the cold plunge. The conversation moved on to school swimming lessons, earthquake drills, the ice bucket challenge and the point at which Japanese people begin to take a tremor seriously. Later she asked viewers to eat with their left hands, as she and her high-school friends once did, and she asked chat for their blood types. She said she had never sneezed on a stream, and she traded stories with chat about whistling, finger-snapping and the antics of her school days.
The announcement came about 35 minutes in, after chat had been teasing her about the word hakanai, meaning fleeting or delicate. Nanase said she would hold a hakanai tier list with Miko at 8 p.m. on Oct. 29 on her own channel. The idea came from her manager, she said, and she invited Miko on the spot and got a yes. She said Miko rarely does one-on-one collabs, so the plan could change, and that she hoped to follow it with other tier lists if time allowed. Chat reacted with surprise at how smoothly the topic had led into the notice.
Near the end she counted to ten before leaving the tub, repeated the Oct. 29 date and ran through her week, which included a Halloween chat collab with fellow streamers on Saturday. The stream, which drew six Super Chats, ended with viewers sending off their usual sign-off after she told them to leave while she changed.
