Yu Q. Wilson’s Party Beats Baldur’s Gate 3 Forge Guardian on Second Attempt

The four-talent group reloaded after a failed first try, used the forge’s own press on the level 10 boss and reached level 6 afterward.

Yu Q. Wilson and three fellow Nijisanji EN talents defeated a level 10 forge guardian in a co-op Baldur’s Gate 3 stream, winning on a second approach after the first attempt left the party downed. Wilson played with Enna Alouette, Elira Pendora and Millie Parfait. The boss fight began about 2 hours 55 minutes into the stream and ended at roughly 3 hours 31 minutes.

The guardian was immune to nearly everything and had about 300 hit points. The players found it could be hurt by bludgeoning weapons once lava from a nearby valve had softened it, and several of them were burned or knocked out standing in that same lava. After reloading, the group drew the boss onto a platform with a press and triggered the mechanism, which took roughly half its health. A second trick, hitting the boss at the edge of the platform, finished the job. One player called it cheese and another said it was simply a game mechanic. The party leveled up to level 6 and split the armor and helmet it dropped.

“You guys are going to love the near future, by the way.” — Yu Q. Wilson, after the other players signed off

Earlier in the evening the group fought through the hag Auntie Ethel’s lair, using non-lethal damage against her followers before she fell, and later held a party with the tieflings at the grove. Wilson’s connection dropped during the first hours and again later, and the others kept going while Wilson restarted the game and rejoined. The chat welcomed Wilson back each time and marked the boss kill with laughter and cheers. Chat sent three Super Chats over the stream.

The other players signed off around 3 hours 41 minutes after agreeing to finish Act 1 in the next session. Wilson stayed on alone for about 20 minutes, said two projects were close to release without naming them, watched an older 3D short and told viewers a collab was set for the next day, followed by a solo stream on Sunday that would probably be a horror game.
