Enna Alouette of Nijisanji EN held a 4 1/2-hour *zatsudan*, or chat stream, on Saturday that she described at the start as her last stream before a break. She told viewers she would not be streaming on her own channel for a while, expected to be away until mid or late November, and might appear here and there on Babu’s channel.

She opened with an asset of her green matcha mascot, the “Aloo peep,” and then turned to a Nijisanji EN group cover set to premiere within about a day. The song, she learned by checking the cover description during the stream, is by the J-pop band Ryokuoushoku Shakai, one of her favorites. She pinned a link so viewers could wait in the premiere’s waiting room, and said viewers would find out at the premiere which animal each member’s costume is, offering only the hint that she is not a bird.

“Anyways guys, if you don’t have any friends in the chat, I’ll pretend to be your friend. Don’t worry, guys.” — Enna Alouette, during a talk about friendship

The first hour ran through a run of tangents. Asked by chat what a new outfit for her should be, she took suggestions including sleepwear, a cowgirl look and a suit, and said she liked the sleepwear and cowgirl ideas. The talk moved on to Pegasus and unicorns, hot dogs and Canadian food, her grandfather who still cooks and rides a bicycle in his 90s, and how relatives fall for AI videos and phone scams. Later topics included what makes a good friend, a Japanese-made checklist of what counts as cheating, which she read aloud in part, and whether viewers consider themselves jealous.

From about the 80-minute mark she began reading Super Chats and donations that came in on the Athetheria fifth-anniversary stream, then those from this one, which brought 16 paid messages. She read out the notes of thanks and the birthday request from two October-born viewers, wished them a happy birthday, and joked about Halloween, saying she would like to give trick-or-treaters riddles on a doorstep. She also spoke some Japanese on request, after chat said she sounded like an anime girl, and asked Japanese-speaking viewers what they thought of the English-speaking ones.

She closed by thanking viewers for the five years and for their good wishes, told them to stay safe over Halloween and said she planned to put up a waiting room before leaving so chat could keep talking in her absence. She said she would continue the games she was playing, including Ghost Trick, when she returns, and signed off at about the four-hour-22-minute mark.
