Amayo Liz Oversleeps by About an Hour, Then Hosts a Monday Morning Chat Anyway
The MillionProduction streamer filled the session with exam-luck music, a Pino ice cream lure from a stranger and the story of her own agency audition.
MILLIONPRODUCTION — Amayo Liz of MillionProduction opened a Monday morning stream, billed as an “asakatsu” or morning stream, by apologizing for sleeping through her alarm. She said she had asked to be woken at 7:20 for a 7:30 start, woke at 8:20 in a sweat and found she was about an hour late.
She said she had slept only an hour that morning after an odd sleep the night before, and that roughly 60 viewers were already waiting when she woke, which was why she could not push the stream to the next day. Chat had spent the early minutes sending her wishes for a good sleep, and she thanked the people who stayed to wait.
“Don’t think I’m the kind of woman you can lure with Pino.” — Amayo Liz, on a stranger’s Instagram message
The talk then turned to music. Amayo recommended a years-old subliminal “exam-passing” track with more than a million plays, saying she had played it on the days her high school and university results came out and had passed both times. She followed it with a track for warding off evil spirits that she plays after scary videos. When chat said the stream was turning spiritual, she insisted it was not that, only a stream about background music.
She also described a stranger who had messaged her on Instagram offering to share Pino, a packaged ice cream, if she came to play. She said she ignores such messages and turns them into stream material. Later she answered a chat joke that she was fleeting by showing a faded, see-through version of her avatar, and recalled that she had made her first ace, killing all five opponents in a round, in unranked Valorant the day before. She compared the feeling to pulling a winner from a Garigari-kun ice pop stick.
In a poll, she asked viewers to say whether they were men or women, and said the share of women was larger than she had expected. She also recounted her path to the agency: she failed at two other audition attempts, then wrote down the questions she expected and prepared answers before the MillionProduction interview. Her advice to hopefuls was to show a personality the agency does not already have.
Near the close she read out viewers’ Super Chats, 14 paid messages in all. She said a short video would go up at 18:00 that day, and promised to be on time for a meeting scheduled after the stream.
