Jiyu Finds Go Stones Can Hold Back Priestess’s Interference in Arknights
Along the way, the Nijisanji streamer cleared a hard-mode stage, hunted for an operator to counter stealth enemies and realized chapter 14 was already finished.
NIJISANJI — Oh Jiyu of Nijisanji’s 46Ex-KR Fourth Wave spent Tuesday’s Arknights stream discovering that go stones placed on the field can stop part of what Priestess throws at the player on one late-chapter map. The stones did not stop everything: Jiyu found that enemies with a weight of 3 or more got past them, and told viewers to remember the cutoff.
The stream picked up the chapter 13 content named in its title, played on hard difficulty. Jiyu fielded Haruka as a dedicated healer and admitted early on to having forgotten the stage’s gimmick, then cleared the first hard stage without being sure how. A later stage brought stealth enemies, and Jiyu searched for an operator able to counter them, weighing Silverash before settling on Ines. Another stretch went to an enemy that kept returning, which Jiyu repeatedly told to leave, and to a high-HP enemy with a weight of 10 that the streamer called a pig and said could only be brought down with raw damage.
“From here on, we have to fight the UI.” — Jiyu, as the Priestess map began
Partway through, Jiyu looked back over the game’s later chapters and realized chapter 14 had already been cleared in full, while chapter 15 had not been touched. Jiyu also recalled finishing Babel, remarking that its story and stages were both punishing. The stream then reached the map where Priestess greets the Doctor. A second, fake mouse cursor appeared on screen and units were retreated without input, and Jiyu took hands off the mouse to show viewers it was not them. Jiyu called the sequence the tutorial and said the player now had to fight the UI itself.
Placing go stones turned out to be the answer for much of it. Jiyu called the approach a balance break and said that with the stones down, Priestess could do almost nothing, though heavier enemies and flying units still got through. Chat joined in with jokes about the stones, and one viewer wrote that the stream should find Priestess’s power button.
Jiyu closed by saying dinner was next and that another stream that night was possible if stamina allowed, then reminded viewers to guard against colds as the weather turned cold.
