Chio Chompi Clears Vampy’s Big Day Without Killing Anyone, Then Eyes an Evil Run
She missed a side quest and some collectibles on the way, and said the game’s other route could be on next week’s schedule.
STELLAR VERSE — Chio Chompi finished the puzzle-stealth game Vampy’s Big Day on Tuesday without killing a single character, and unlocked the achievement for completing every level without killing anyone she came across.
The stream opened with about 38 minutes of talk, covering the Halloween cover song released on her company’s channel, her Halloween movie picks and the limits on emote slots on YouTube, where she said the channel has 25 emotes, and Twitch, where it has 14. She then went into the game’s final levels, telling viewers the day’s mission was “tricking the villagers into believing that we are a good vampire.” She sneaked past guards and traps by dragging crates to cast shadows, and helped a stone creature named Gluke reach his family along the way.
“I made friends with everyone. I should have killed them first and then become friends with them after.” — Chio Chompi, after finishing the pacifist run
Not everything went to plan. The level in which she found the vampires’ ritual plans ended before she could finish a quest for a witch, and the game does not allow replaying finished levels, so she also missed some of its potatoes, a collectible. A later puzzle held her up for roughly ten minutes while she searched for a third rock that did not exist. The answer was to pull the middle rock aside and move the top one. She finished with a boss fight against a member of the vampire court, dodging his attacks until the blood moon the ritual needed had passed.
Afterward she said she liked that the game is a one-shot journey, where a missed chance stays missed. The game also has an evil route, and she said she wants to try it, probably next week, though she expected killing everyone to be hard.
During the stream, gifted subscriptions on Twitch pushed a hype train to level 8. She said it was the first on her channel outside a collab, and that she expected to add a new emote after the stream. She had started simulcasting to Twitch about a month earlier. The stream also drew five Super Chats. She said she would skip Wednesday, with a collab on Thursday and a second stream later that day.
