Yatogami Fuma’s Raccoon Coin-Pusher Run Snowballs Late in RACCOIN Stream
After going bankrupt in an early run, the HOLOSTARS UPROAR!! talent built a Trader-led setup that pushed his score up faster than he could follow.
HOLOLIVE — Yatogami Fuma of Hololive’s HOLOSTARS UPROAR!! spent a stream of more than four hours on Nov. 3 with RACCOIN: Coin Pusher Roguelike, a game that casts a raccoon as the lead. Late in the night, a run built around the Trader character took off until the score was climbing too fast for him to follow. “I have no idea what’s going on,” he said at one point.
He opened by describing the game as a raccoon coin-dropping game that is more than a plain coin pusher, with a roguelike progression layered on top. Between rounds he spent tickets in a shop on special coins and extra clip space, and a harmful “bad coin” appears every three rounds. Early on he borrowed the game’s raccoon theme and turned into a raccoon form he calls Fuumaru, telling newcomers that as an ayakashi, a supernatural being, he can take many shapes. His first real run ended in bankruptcy short of the goal, and he later said he had learned to buy as much as he could. Selling coins and items to feed a UFO that drops extra coins became a regular tactic.
“That was fun, wasn’t it?” — Yatogami Fuma, after the run
The turn came once he picked the Trader and filled his machine with coins that boosted one another. Rounds began ending in moments, and at the close of one he said the whole build had meshed. “Trader is the strongest,” he said. After a later round he said the score had come in at more than double what was needed, and the game offered a new difficulty.
Afterward he said the game made him want to play pachinko, and praised its pixel art and cute characters. He said custom tournaments will crowd his schedule from mid-month, that a Minecraft Ender Dragon event is planned for next week, and that he has recordings for work this week. With his fifth anniversary about four months off, he said preparations are under way and that announcements could come around late November. The stream drew four Super Chats.
