IZIGENIA Talents Play R.E.P.O. Together in Their First Collab as a Group

Five channels streamed the same two-hour run of the co-op horror game, hauling treasure and teammates’ heads past gnomes, a frog and a killer duck.

Ruridori Kafka, Veilvet Whitmore, Nyra Nightclaw, Elvara Throne Rozalia and Eruu Claymie played the co-op horror game R.E.P.O. together for about two hours, in what they introduced at the start as the first IZIGENIA girls collab with everyone involved. Each streamed from her own channel; Kafka titled hers an IZIGENIA girls horror night.

They opened with introductions. Veil called herself “your ghastly ghost,” Elvara a “bewitching rose empress,” and Nyra “the blacksmith panther.” A few minutes went to voice-chat settings after several players’ speaking indicators failed to light up, and then the group dropped into the game.

“I am the mother of the year. I wasn’t expecting to be very useful today, to be honest.” — Ruridori Kafka, on a comment calling her that

In R.E.P.O., players gather valuables from haunted buildings, carry them to an extraction point and spend the proceeds on upgrades. The run was crowded with hazards: a duck one player warned would kill anyone who touched it, packs of gnomes, a frog and a monstrous baby. Early on, a gravity gadget pulled the whole team into a black hole; the player who used it said she had expected a laser beam, apologized, and admitted it was too funny to stop. Deaths came quickly, and much of the evening turned on carrying fallen teammates’ heads back to be revived. At one point the group lifted and dropped a monster in unison until it died, and one participant noted that with more of them than monsters they could be “pack hunters.”

Midway through, every player received a cosmetic token and spent time on hats, tattoos and a kiwi worn in the mouth. Later the group found it had bought a hauler car it said no one remembered paying for (“It followed me home”), and Veil ended up behind the wheel to jokes about who among them had a license. After one round came a head count that reached six. Kafka said later that she had been so focused on whether the others were safe that she forgot to count herself.

The longest stretch of tension came near the two-hour mark, when Elvara, who had said she had only watched others play, was left alone as a hunter that tracks sound roamed the level. The others, already down, coached her to crouch and stay quiet. She shot an alien before the gun ran out of charge, and the teammates called her a natural and said they were proud of her.

Afterward the group talked about playing again. Several wanted another R.E.P.O. session or a girls’ night, and the idea of Pico Park, a cooperative platformer, came up, with a joke that they would hate each other by the end. Elvara asked that the next game be less scary, saying she would do her best either way. Eruu said she had been quiet because a group overwhelms her, but that she loved the game. Closing their own streams, Kafka promised more horror games the next day, Veil an ASMR stream later the same day, and Eruu a daily streaming streak she hoped would reach 20. Veil and Elvara thanked viewers for their congratulations on milestones of 10K and 4K.
