Pavolia Reine Takes a Fracture Hospital to Three Stars in Two Point Hospital
She had bought the game and all its expansions during a sale, and ended a six-hour stream with 1.7 million in the bank.
HOLOLIVE — Pavolia Reine brought a fracture-treatment hospital up to three stars in Two Point Hospital, the hospital-management game, during a six-hour stream that closed with the clinic holding 1.7 million, the most money she had made in the game so far.
She opened by saying she had not owned the game until shortly before going live. It was on sale, so she bought every expansion as well. She then built her first hospital from scratch, with a GP’s office, a pharmacy, a staff room, toilets and wards, adding psychiatry, a training room and a clown clinic as the game unlocked them. Partway through she cleared a challenge to go 90 days without a death. Minutes later, just after she had called it the hospital where nobody dies, a patient died anyway. “Skill issue,” she said, before putting the blame on patients who arrive too late.
“Okay, everybody please get sick more.” — Pavolia Reine, struggling to raise her hospital’s value
The longest stretch of the evening came at the second hospital, a clinic that specialized in fractures. Patients there healed slowly, queues grew, and many complained of thirst and the cold. Reine moved wards and the pharmacy, trained her nurses and pushed on. By the late stages of the stream the fracture patients had started to recover. “Oh, I’m starting to actually cure people with bone injuries,” she said. Near the end she added a second receptionist, raised prices about 10 percent without losing patients, and the hospital reached its third star.
Chat cheered the third star and asked how the game compared with the museum game she had played before. Reine said she liked this one more: it caused no motion sickness and its mechanics were simpler. Five Super Chats arrived, and she read some of the messages near the close.
Reine said she planned to go back to the other hospitals and try to take them to two and three stars. She ended the stream saying she wanted to play again the next day and would pick something lighter.
