Shirakami Fubuki and Yuzuki Choco Finish an ARK Rail Line, Then Ride It with Watame
Tsunomaki Watame, who tamed a level 150 Pyro earlier in the night, joined a test run that took just under 15 minutes end to end.
HOLOLIVE — Shirakami Fubuki and Yuzuki Choco finished the railway they had been building across the Hololive server’s ARK world on Wednesday night in Japan, then took Tsunomaki Watame on a test run of the full line. All three streamed the collab from their own channels.
The line was a two-person job. Choco crafted the stone pillars that carry it over mountains and the sea, and Fubuki stood them up and extended the track. When a junction would not link because the rails faced different ways, Fubuki dropped the plan to loop back and pushed the line on toward her base instead. Near the end she worked out how short rail pieces and joints fit together, saying she had “understood everything,” and the last stretch connected. Because of the way ARK links track, the line could not be closed into a loop, so a train has to reverse to get back to the starting point.
“I’m really glad we got the line open.” — Shirakami Fubuki, closing the stream
Not everything rolled smoothly. While Fubuki tried to detach the cars to move the starting point, the locomotive set off on its own. She chased it down on her rabbit, stopped it, and remarked that picking it up and carrying it back would have been quicker.
Once the line was joined, the three boarded a carriage Choco had fitted with seats and a piano and ran from the starting station to the end in just under 15 minutes, a test run before any decorating. With piano music playing, the talents acted as tour guides, pointing out landmarks along the route, and Watame thanked the other two for taking her along.
Watame had spent the evening on a project of her own: taming a Pyro, a flame-wreathed creature. She waited for rain and set out on a rabbit, but insects and a level 135 Pyro drove her back repeatedly until Fubuki and Choco came to her aid. After repairing her gear and building her mount’s health back up, she completed the tame of a level 150 Pyro. In her closing remarks she said she had worried at one point how it would go, but that help from the other two made the tame go smoothly.
The server closes at 11 p.m. on Nov. 8, and the talents floated running the train on that last night, around 10 p.m. Fubuki said she wants to take a Pyro into ARK’s trial caves next, and an airship came up as the group’s next building goal.
