Silvervale Unveils a Two-Part Halloween Costume, Red Riding Hood and Her Wolf
The independent Twitch streamer opened a chat stream by showing off the new outfits, then turned to egg jokes, home upkeep and her coming trip to Japan.
INDEPENDENT — Silvervale, an independent streamer on Twitch, revealed a new Halloween costume in two parts, a Little Red Riding Hood and a werewolf, early in a Just Chatting stream that ran more than seven and a half hours.
She walked viewers through the details of the red-hooded look: the lace, the ribbons, the layered frilly dress, the rose detailing on the corset and the stitching on the cape. She said her tail would not stop wagging as she described it. When chat guessed the character was Ruby Rose, she confirmed it. Later she shed the outer layer for the wolf form, joking that she had gotten a little too hot with all the fur on, and she called it a bit of a “gooner Halloween” with a wholesome Red Riding Hood and a big bad wolf. She credited the artists behind the backgrounds, the animation, the rigging and the two outfits one by one, and said it was the first time she had two outfits for one holiday.
“I don’t know how to own a home, Jeff.” — Silvervale, on window cleaning and water softeners
Around the 49-minute mark she joked about throwing eggs at a window and wondered aloud whether they would cook in the heat. The talk drifted into household upkeep. She said she had thought the rain cleaned her windows, that she had only recently learned about replacing filters, and that she owned a water softener without knowing how it worked or that it needed salt. She also said she has sprinklers in her yard and no idea where they are.
At about an hour and 40 minutes in, a conversation about baths led her to her upcoming trip to Japan. She said she was excited about visiting an onsen, worried about the etiquette of bathing naked, and wanted a cute swimsuit. She asked chat about working hours in Japan and said she needed to learn some conversational Japanese.
Near the close she said her dog, Daiya, needed a procedure and would wear a cone afterward, so streams might be shorter, possibly with the dog in her office. Next week she plans more spooky games, including Emberville on its release, and a spooky video watch-along that she expected to hold on Friday, with viewers asked to suggest clips under 20 minutes.
