Sinnie Aris Pleads for Two More Songs at Weekly Song Stream, Swears She Will Rest
The M.Entertainment (MeloNyx) singer said she had the next day off and would not touch her computer.
M.ENTERTAINMENT — Sinnie Aris of M.Entertainment (MeloNyx) pleaded with viewers for two more songs late in her Wednesday song stream, promising that she would rest the next day. The broadcast was the 241st in her weekly series of singing streams.
After finishing “Haru Dorobo” (“Spring Thief”), she said she could sing two more and asked chat for requests. “Please let me sing two more. I want to sing. I don’t care anymore, I’m off tomorrow,” she said, adding that she would pick simple songs. She swore she would not open her computer or touch anything the following day. Chat teased her about it, asking whether the workaholic would really rest, and one message read “Believe (X), work (O).” Another asked whether she had some misunderstanding of what “easy” meant. After a quick check of the key, she started what she called the day’s 13th song.

Earlier she had opened the stream by greeting her “salary thieves,” her name for viewers who tune in during working hours, and said she was proud of them. Later she told a story from a trip to Hokkaido: she had visited a music museum, picked something up, seen a price of 20,000 yen and put it back. She said the sea urchin season had left her disappointed because she was short of money. “Expensive isn’t its flaw, it’s mine, because I’m too poor,” she said, and chat answered with a run of laughing stickers.
She closed the stream by telling viewers she would see them on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and said goodnight. Chat filled with messages thanking her for her work and urging her to get some sleep.
