NEUN Starts a Cold-Night Singing Stream 30 Minutes Late After a Nightmare
The RK Music singer told the dream behind the delay, sang for more than 90 minutes, then announced a December 27 year-end event.
RK MUSIC — NEUN, the singer on the RK Music (40MELUNE) roster, opened a singing stream on Monday evening 30 minutes behind schedule and said a nightmare was the reason. The stream, titled “Singing While Freezing,” ran 100 minutes.
After an opening song, NEUN greeted viewers with “It’s cold” and explained the delay. In the dream, a bus nearly hit NEUN, who then ended up in front of a swimwear shop where a woman described as a mother offered to sell NEUN’s worn swimsuit in a Mercari-style listing. NEUN lost their temper and thrashed around until an alarm rang. NEUN woke with trembling hands, took 15 minutes to type a message saying the stream would be 30 minutes late, and said the dream had also included a stay at a grandmother’s house with rows of futons. “Lately, I can’t tell whether it’s a dream or reality,” NEUN said.

The singing followed, with NEUN naming each song at its close and remarking on the cold between numbers. NEUN stopped one song after a false start and began it again, apologizing. Around the hour-and-ten mark NEUN said dinner was still ahead and talked okonomiyaki, saying they could accept only the version with mochi. After one song NEUN asked listeners to say when they planned to propose, promising applause for a success and boos for a failure. The set closed with “Hysteric Night Girl.”
In chat, viewers answered the nightmare story with sympathy and jokes, and applauded after song after song.
Before signing off, NEUN said they would play Goose Goose Duck at 9 p.m. the same night, asked viewers whether it should be on YouTube or Twitch, and settled on YouTube. NEUN also announced an appearance at the RK Music year-end event “Utadake ja Owarenai” on Sunday, Dec. 27, with first-round lottery sales open through Nov. 15.
