Koseki Bijou Marks 1 Million Subscribers With Her Mother on Stream and a Surprise From Yagoo
Her mother, who said she had never spoken in public before, stayed on for about an hour before the streamer rewatched her own debut.
HOLOLIVE — Koseki Bijou of Hololive English -Advent- celebrated passing 1 million YouTube subscribers with a stream that brought her mother on as a guest, replayed her debut broadcast and ended with a recorded surprise in which Yagoo agreed to be her “mom.”
Her mother, whom viewers know as Momseki, joined about six minutes in, nervous and by her own account speaking in public for the first time in her life. Bijou worked through questions submitted by her fans, who call themselves Pebbles. Her mother said she watches the beginning of Bijou’s long streams before falling asleep, and named a taxi-driving simulator, an early stream, as her favorite because she once tried to teach her daughter to drive. She also described Bijou as a child who spent her time behind a computer screen, and shared the Thai omelet rice she cooked when Bijou was hungry. Near the end she read a poem in Thai and English and led a chicken-themed chant. She had expected to stay five minutes, and left after roughly an hour with Bijou telling her she had done great.

Bijou then played back her debut stream, pausing to comment on her lore video, her slide presentation and a misspelled art tag she said she has kept on purpose. She also walked viewers through drawing their own simple gem-shaped “pebble persona” and asked them to share the results under a hashtag.
After thanking fans for a Kudo board of congratulatory messages, Bijou played a video she had recorded with Yagoo. She reminded him of a promise she made about three years earlier, that on reaching a million subscribers she would ask him a question, and asked whether he would be her mom. He said yes. “Promise fulfilled,” she said afterward, adding that she needed a rest before setting new goals. The stream closed with recordings her mother had made of herself singing Bijou’s songs.
