Amaui Clears Final Fantasy Resonance Story, Last Resonance Move Still Unused

774INC — Amaui finished the main story of Final Fantasy Resonance on a stream that ran more than eight hours, the eighth in her series on the game. She entered the night expecting the climb up the Crystal Tower to be the end, and it was: chapter eight closed out the story before the credits rolled.

The first stretch went to preparation. Amaui took on optional bosses to earn magic stones for her Sephiroth vision, the character power set she had unlocked, and worked through battles built on weaknesses and shifting elements. Partway through, she realized that abilities from fully mastered visions can all be equipped together. She had not known, and concluded she had been playing under heavy self-imposed limits. She rebuilt her party around the discovery, putting Sephiroth on the healer Fina to make her an attacker, and said she was glad to have found out before the finale rather than after it.

The story then ran at full speed. Amaui fought through the antagonist Sol’s forces, including a Behemoth, and reached the boss Chaos Darkness. After the characters’ prayers reached the party, the game unlocked the Last Resonance, an all-out finishing attack, and Amaui spent the next stretch weighing when to fire it. She beat Chaos Darkness without using it, and the story kept going: a final duel with Sol, where the move was not available, ended the chapter.

Chat applauded as the story closed. Six Super Chats came in, most of them congratulations. Amaui said she had saved clear data and still has optional content ahead, including stone tablets she overlooked on the way. A teaser at the end pointed her toward the Aadra continent, where she said her next Resonance stream will begin. She will not stream for the next two nights and plans to return the night after.

Amaui said she is determined to fire the Last Resonance at last next time, and hopes a hidden boss will give her the chance.
