Shiratama Utano Enters Song Ranking Vote, Aiming to Put Her New Single at No. 1

INDEPENDENT — Shiratama Utano said Monday that she is entering a VTuber song ranking vote with “Saiko no Boku e,” closing a three-hour karaoke stream by asking listeners to help push the song to first place.

The singer, an independent VTuber with UniVIRTUAL, opened the stream, billed as a send-off to kick November into gear, with a chat about which songs count as recent before singing through the night. Near the end she turned to the vote, which she said covers songs released in 2026 and runs until Dec. 22. Each person gets two votes a day, one by public post and one by direct message, and she warned that entries are tallied automatically, so extra spaces or emoticons in a post can void it. She said she planned to vote daily from a second account.

“I want to push “Saiko no Boku e” up to number one.” — Shiratama Utano, on entering the ranking vote

The stakes, she said, are airtime: the top-ranked song is played in full on terrestrial radio, and she understood that the next two places may get airplay too. She tied the push to her first album, which she said goes on sale Nov. 11, and said she wanted listeners who follow other VTubers to notice it.

She also said an online signing event is set for 6 p.m. Tuesday through the retailer Limista, where she will write buyers’ names and her signature on special photo cards. A second session on Nov. 12 will have her sign CD jackets. She said she has signed names only rarely and that the chance would not come again through ordinary merchandise. She added that more announcements tied to the release were coming once she is cleared to share them.

Midway through, she led a call-and-response with chat that drew a wave of “Sieg Utanon!” messages. The stream drew 51 Super Chats and stickers, which she read near the close before signing off.
