Seible Picks Dynamo Roller After First Splatoon Matches With Senior Streamers
On day three of training, the NIJISANJI EN streamer also began Anarchy Battles, with a first meeting with his team set for Wednesday night.
NIJISANJI — Seible of NIJISANJI EN played Splatoon 3 with other streamers for the first time on Tuesday, the third day of his training for the tournament tagged #にじイカ祭り2026. He finished a stream of more than seven hours saying that the Dynamo Roller suited his style best.
He said he was nervous about the matches: he had trained alone for three days, and joining a lobby of senior streamers was the first time he had played Splatoon with anyone. The others told him he was landing plenty of kills for a player on his third day.
“I might lose, but I want to lose looking cool.” — Seible, after reading Super Chats near the end of the stream
What Seible said he was least used to was the callouts. He said he was not used to the calls, and one of the senior players explained them: enemies are counted in the Japanese counter for flat objects, so two opponents are “two sheets,” and teammates are best served by hearing how many enemies are on the high ground at each side of the map. Seible answered that he understood.
Opponents used the Dynamo Roller against him in those matches, and when the session ended he said it had him curious. He asked how to earn experience fastest, unlocked the weapon and logged seven kills in his first match with it. “I think I found my weapon,” he said in English.
Playing on his own afterward, he reached level 10 after a match he called his “first ever perfect game,” a 7.0 kill-death ratio. He then moved on to Anarchy Battles, starting at Rank C, to practice Splat Zones and Tower Control, the kinds of modes he said he wanted to practice for the tournament. He set a personal best of nine kills in a match, lost several close games and said holding the high ground made fights easier.
Reading Super Chats near the end, he said three days of training had improved his play and that he had doubted at first whether he could handle Splatoon’s motion controls. Chat filled with calls for Timmy Teible, who is due to appear on the GTA roleplay server DistrictV2 on Wednesday, and Seible repeatedly said he was not jealous. His first meeting with his team is set for Wednesday night.
