ACHRORA Opens Pizza Party With Apologies for a Ramen Outing and Back-to-Back Feasts
The Hololive trio ended the night trading deliberately trivial remarks, a running joke that chat picked up as the stream closed.
HOLOLIVE — The Hololive trio ACHRORA spent Tuesday evening eating pizza together on stream at a member’s home, and began by owning up to how much they had already eaten. Two of the three, they said, had gone out for ramen earlier that day, around the end of lunchtime, and another member confessed she had skipped a big meal beforehand with only a salad and a rice ball.
The pizzas were chosen small so everyone could finish them. One was topped with bacon and corn, another came loaded with meat, potato, paprika and mayonnaise, and one was a four-cheese pizza drizzled with honey. The honey pizza turned out to be a large one: the small menu had no cheese-heavy option, so its owner ordered a big pie anyway. The delivery had been left outside the door and arrived a little cooled, which got a laugh. The group began with salad before taking the first bite, then went around giving short reviews, with one calling the honey-and-cheese combination perfect.
“It’s these trivial things that matter, you know.” — ACHRORA, during the closing round of “it doesn’t matter” remarks
The second apology was that the previous day had gone much the same way. After a Halloween-themed gathering they had mostly eaten sweets, and they said they had pizza that day as well, so the night was a second day of heavy eating. No one drank alcohol, with one member saying she was holding off after the snacks.
Conversation drifted from there. Asked about the differences between ramen styles such as tonkotsu and iekei, the group admitted they could not tell them apart, and one joked about serving “ponkotsu” ramen. They later argued over who was the most together of the three, and who counted as “fragile”, “dry” or “wet” in temperament. As the evening wound down, they decided that when three people who have always been the youngest gather, one ends up the youngest and the others become the older sisters, and compared it to ants that sort themselves into queens, workers and slackers.
The night closed with each member giving her impressions of the evening, every remark opened with the phrase “it doesn’t matter, but...” and the joke carried through to the sign-off. Chat followed the running gag to the end. They said their next collab would be on the 31st, for Halloween.
