Uki Violeta Reads Tarot for Fellow Streamers Through a Five-Hour Halloween-Season Stream

A reading stream planned for about two hours ran far longer as one guest after another dropped into the call, ending with a one-card answer that sent a gacha question packing.

Uki Violeta of Nijisanji EN spent roughly five hours on Friday reading tarot cards for fellow streamers who dropped into an open voice call, turning what she had said would be a two-hour stream into a long evening of readings that ran close to 3 a.m. her time.

She opened by noting it had been 10 to 11 months since her last tarot stream, a New Year’s reading about how the year would go, and said she has read cards for about 10 years, entirely self-taught. Her favorite card, she said, is the Star. She uses the Fountain Tarot, a standard 78-card deck plus one extra card named for the deck itself, and does three-card spreads so she can read for several people in a row. After a short chant (“This space is safe. This space is clear. Only love and peace may enter here”) she opened the call. A card jumped out of the deck as she shuffled before the first guest even joined, which she treats as a signal to pay attention; it turned out to be the Page of Wands, and she built the reading around it.

“I think it’s crazy that the tower came out for that. It could have been any other card that just said like, “Oh yeah, it’s going to be a no.”” — Uki Violeta, after the reading for Doppio Dropscythe

The guests included Kaelix Debonair, who got a career reading and then a romance reading, and who in turn drew three Nintendo Switch game cartridges from a bag to give Uki a reading of her own, built on Breath of the Wild, Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. One guest said she had never had a tarot reading before; another group of guests came in together and took turns. Uki said that when she reads she zones out so the words come unfiltered, and that she rarely remembers a reading afterward.

The shortest session came when Doppio Dropscythe arrived and asked whether to spend his last 10-pull on a gacha banner for a character he wanted. Uki pulled a single card, and it was the Tower. Doppio said he would hold off, thanked her for saving him money and left. Uki later said she might need to stop treating the Tower as only something to fear. Riko Solari closed the night with her first reading ever, a past, present and future spread of the Seven of Wands, the King of Coins and the Devil; Riko said the card for her past was “so spot on.”

Uki wrapped up by saying she had spent all her energy and was feeling faint, then thanked viewers for 10 paid messages and for the memberships. She said the readings feel special because she mostly does them in the Halloween season, floated doing them twice a year, at Halloween and New Year’s, and said she may try a tarot-learning stream. Next was a No More Room in Hell 2 collab about eight hours later, followed by a Halloween live that night.
