Moona Hoshinova Goes From Dungeon Chains to Running a Graveyard in Graveyard Keeper 2

The Hololive Indonesia talent played the sequel without having touched the first game, and ended the night calling it a game she should have played sooner.

Moona Hoshinova of Hololive Indonesia’s first generation (AREA 15) spent more than four hours on Graveyard Keeper 2, taking a shackled prisoner out of a dungeon and into a job as keeper of a ruined town’s graveyard. She said she owns the first game but has never played it, and chose to go straight to the newest one. The stream began a little late after she accidentally started it on another channel and had to reload.

Once free, her character teamed up with a sarcastic talking skull named Larry, took up burying the town’s dead and pitched in on the village’s food shortage. She buried her first body and marked the grave, then built a garden, gathered mushrooms and berries and worked through the crafting, cooking and research menus out loud as she went. Partway through she told chat she was streaming to run from her homework.

“This is so fun. I love it. I love the story.” — Moona Hoshinova, late in the stream

Later in the stream she opened a hatch beneath her base that led to an old dungeon and to a plague doctor living nearby. He handed over the recipe for dream dust, the ingredient she needs to summon a fairy, and told her the final step calls for a feather from a comet’s tail sold by an astrologer at the port. She also picked up zombie workers to do labor at her workstations. When chat asked her to rank apples, plums and peaches, she put apples first and peaches second, and said she had never tried a plum, so it came last.

Chat laughed through an early scene in which the game’s hero sat in a bath with bubbles and a towel, and a raid from another channel arrived in the third hour to a flood of greetings. Five Super Chats came in over the night. Near the end she said she needed to wake at 7 and would stop at 3 a.m., thanked viewers who joined the membership and donated, and signed off to sleep.
