He also named his incoming moderators the Guardeners and said a one-week break for a move is planned for later in November.

Solan Fernwick, a streamer with FIRST STAGE PRODUCTION’s English-language 3dEN Sontaris lineup, came back from a two-day break on Thursday with a first playthrough of the survival game Quarantine Zone, playing a doctor who decides which arrivals at a checkpoint are let in. The stream ran just over three hours.

Before starting the game, Solan opened by greeting viewers who had waited, reading out Super Chats and joking that he was secretly a doctor. He then announced that the channel will have moderators, whom he named the Guardeners, spelling the first part of the name with “guard.” Several of them were in chat, and he tried out the new title at once, shouting orders for the guards to execute viewers he named at random.

“It’s not zombies that’s scary, guys. It’s other humans.” — Solan Fernwick, while inspecting survivors

In Quarantine Zone he checked survivors for red eyes, bite marks, scratches, pulse and temperature, then sent each one to the survivors’ block, to quarantine or to liquidation. He ran a strict checkpoint by his own account, once sent someone away because they had been rude, and ended up covering base upkeep and defending the perimeter himself. “It’s not zombies that’s scary, guys. It’s other humans,” he said as he worked through the line. He stopped partway through the evening’s in-game days, saying the game was making him dizzy.

Away from the game, Solan talked about his Cardfight Vanguard cards, which he had been shuffling during the stream, and about a planned move to a new place with better conditions for recording. He said he expects to take a one-week break for it, probably in the third week of November. Near the end he learned from a Super Chat that he had been demoted as guild leader in a mobile card game and said he would rather someone more active held the role.

The chat logged 22 Super Chats, many of them telling him he had been missed. He signed off by raiding another streamer.
