Derem Kado, Back in District V After a Reinstall, Hires Two Lawyers as the City’s Judge

Server crashes and a printer that never worked slowed a day of paperwork, mayoral candidates and a complaint to the police chief.

Derem Kado spent the second day of the District V roleplay server working as the city’s judge after a game that would not launch took most of her opening minutes to repair. The Nijisanji streamer told viewers she had updated and then reinstalled the game, and that the download dragged on her home connection. The client then stuck at 100 percent on the loading screen before she got in about seven minutes into the stream.

Once in the Grand Theft Auto roleplay city, she played Sunday All Morning, a judge with the city’s Department of Justice. She answered a citizen’s question about mayoral endorsements, collected a first paycheck and, for lack of a motorbike, got around on a skateboard. She hired a new lawyer who walked in asking for work, then later took on another, Dorian Lawson, handing both a radio set to channel 70.7. She also asked a local news outlet to announce that criminals should not attack or steal EMS vehicles.

The mayoral election ran through the evening. Supermarket owner Flynn Daniel told her he wanted to run, and she sent her lawyers to his store to explain what candidacy involved. She said the DOJ’s employer funds ran out more than once, and that the changing room she had requested was hard to find.

Police driving was her main complaint. She said officers had rammed her car twice while driving in the wrong lane, and she reported it to an officer, then raised it in person with Chief Shelby, asking that officers be trained to drive carefully. The printer the lawyers needed for documents never worked, however many rooms and image sites they tried.

Server crashes cut in repeatedly, and she was still waiting for it to come back at the end. She said she would eat lunch, take a break and stream again in 15 or 30 minutes.
