Luca Kaneshiro’s Second Night on District V2 Ends in Server Trouble After Failed ATM Job
A botched ATM heist, a police chase and repeated crashes filled the evening on the GTA roleplay server.
NIJISANJI — Luca Kaneshiro’s second night on District V2, a Grand Theft Auto (GTA) roleplay server, ended with the server still unstable and the streamer telling viewers the rest of the evening was lost. It followed a failed ATM heist, a police chase and a run of crashes and restarts.
Luca opened by saying the server should have been upgraded since the previous day and hoping for no problems. The plan for the first hour was to grind for packages, which he said paid about 500 each. Other players were doing the same, and he complained that someone seemed to be camping the spots where packages appear. Along the way he held up a player at gunpoint and found trading cards in their inventory, including a graded card of Luca Kaneshiro himself. He asked who the person on the card was, and chat answered with laughter.
“We’ll figure it out like we always do.” — Luca Kaneshiro, closing out the night
A package turned up the unmarked SIM card the ATM job required, and Luca teamed up with other players to try it. The rope attached to the ATM would not pull it free, sirens approached, and the group left with nothing. The SIM card and the getaway car were gone. Register robberies brought in smaller sums, and later the group found a spot where stolen cash could be laundered. Luca pressed an employee for the access code, a police chase followed, and the group got away after one member was thrown from the car.
Disconnections and long waits for restarts then took over the night. Luca said the team was back where it started that morning. Midway through, a recurring character he had been hoping to find, Sunny, turned up in town and had taken a new name, Sunny Smiles. Chat greeted the reunion as a fated encounter. Soon afterward the server failed again.
Luca told viewers the night was a write-off. Talk on the call turned to adding an hour to each remaining day to make up the time, and Luca said about ten days of the event were left. He thanked viewers for their patience and read out Super Chats, then pointed them to a cover song planned for later that night before signing off.
