Amarynn Starts a New One-Hour Talk Segment While Recovering From a Sore Throat
The AKA Virtual streamer spent the evening on fandom shipping, a Naruto theory and a manga idea, and ended by playing an earlier cover with a fellow streamer.
AKA VIRTUAL — Amarynn, the fallen-angel VTuber of AKA Virtual’s Encore group, began a new segment on her channel with a free-talk stream built around a one-hour limit. She greeted viewers as an angel who had fallen from the sky and into their hearts, then said she was streaming while ill.
She said she had been suffering from a sore throat and was taking throat lozenges, which she called a magic fix. The pain was much better, she said, but her voice was still hoarse. Chat wished her a speedy recovery throughout, and she said she planned to rest.
“I only go live because I’m bored.” — Amarynn, answering chat’s worry that she had no topics
Most of the evening was loose conversation. Talking about a volleyball anime she called HQ, she said she still reads fan fiction because relationships between male characters can be more enjoyable than male-female ones. She then explained the difference between canon and “fanon”: canon is what the author wrote, and fanon is what fans invent. By her example, if it were canon that she is an angel, someone claiming she is secretly a demon would be fanon. The talk drifted to Naruto, where she and chat traded joke theories, including that the whole story was a dream of Minato’s.
She also asked viewers whether they would be interested in a manga about herself, and said she had already written a rough outline of the story. Chat asked for her trading card game project first; she said that was still at the concept stage and that she had not decided whether the manga would be released. Later she read out her PC specifications, including a Ryzen 7 5700G processor, an RTX 3060 graphics card and 32 GB of memory, when chat asked about her setup.
Near the end, chat worried that she would have nothing to talk about on later streams. She said she goes live because she is bored and has been streaming more often after a long break. She joked that she would stream the next day only if the stream reached 300 likes, then said she would be back the next day. She closed by playing a cover she recorded about a year ago with Areta Kirana, whom she called Aki, and asked viewers to look forward to the two of them covering a song together again.
