From a Wiped Inventory to a Tamed Argentavis, Himemori Luna Spends Day Two on ARK

Returning to the Hololive server after several days away, she rebuilt her gear, then set a door trap with a partner and caught a rabbit along the way.

Himemori Luna, a Hololive fourth-generation (holoForce) member, finished a second day on the Hololive ARK server on Saturday with a tamed Argentavis and a tamed rabbit, after opening the stream to find her character stripped of nearly everything it had owned.

She said she had not logged in for four or five days, and her inventory was empty and several of her dinosaurs had died. She went back to basics, crafting a workbench, tools and a bow from scratch while reading from her own notes, and she kept pausing to write down commands and crafting steps she had forgotten. The server’s Halloween event ran in the background, with skeleton-skinned dinosaurs and a bone-built cosmetic pet that she called unkind to beginners.

A partner joined the server partway through, and the two rebuilt the base with stone walls and tamed another Pteranodon. The main goals were an Argentavis and a rabbit. The Argentavis trap was a small stone enclosure with a door, and the two argued over which way the door should open and from which side the animal should enter. The first attempt fell apart when rabbit burrows opened underfoot and killed them. Later they got an Argentavis into the trap, put it to sleep and tamed it. The rabbit, caught on the second try, let them dig warp holes between the base and distant spots, which Luna worked out as she went.

Not everything went smoothly. A tamed Tyrannosaurus belonging to someone else killed Luna while she was hauling a corpse, and she joked that its owner owed her compensation. Earlier, she had been collecting wood by letting herself be killed near a giant beaver lodge and recovering the stockpile afterward. Closing out, she recapped the day: an Argentavis, a rabbit and a list of lessons on traps, flint, fiber and wood.

Luna said she might play again the next day if her schedule allowed, with a flame-themed dinosaur as the next target, and that she would return that night at 10 p.m. for a Halloween ASMR stream. Chat had four Super Chats, and viewers coached her on trap design and cheered the rabbit mishaps.
