The independent Twitch streamer said they had never made clothes and knew nothing about the game before sitting down to design for in-game clients.

Kuro Kurenai, an independent streamer on Twitch, spent a stream designing dresses for in-game clients in a dressmaking game they had never played, saying they knew nothing about it and had never made clothes. Kuro had said they would start the game when the next hour began, after finishing a snack and chatting.

The first commission to draw a big reaction was a dress for a funeral. Kuro defended the design as a girl’s bid to stand out without wearing black, joking that it was meant to win over a guest at the service. Chat teased the strawberry-and-watermelon look as a Christmas outfit at a funeral. A glitch then stalled the dress screen while Kuro was adding accessories, and a save and reopen cleared it.

Later, a gardener’s commission had Kuro debating which colors a gardener would wear. Kuro built the dress around the sun, the earth and the grass, with blues for water, and called it “mummy nature.” The in-game client was not won over, and Kuro said the dress was not optimized for success. Chat compared the result to Fiona from Shrek. A gothic, romantic commission followed, which Kuro voiced in character.

Near the end, a library-themed dress drew a mixed verdict in the game, and Kuro said many people would have liked what they made, except perhaps for a small sheep on the back. Before signing off, Kuro said that over the next couple of weeks they would stream three to four hours at a time, with longer streams planned for a December event.
