Shimamura Charlotte Raises Walls Around Her Minecraft Tree-Farm Apartment
The 774inc talent also described a solo trip to the cinema on the holiday and said she would rebuild a mangrove farm whose trees refused to grow.
774INC — Shimamura Charlotte spent her weekly Tuesday 11 p.m. Minecraft stream building the outer walls of an apartment on the site of a tree farm, part of her plan to unify the buildings in her long-running world. The stream ran about three hours.
She said at the start that she wanted to fill in the ground and finish the exterior walls, then move to the interior next time, and she worked from a reference model she had prepared. Near the end she said the day’s goal was within reach. Decoration and the grass around the building were left for the next session, which she thought would finish the build.
“It’s a really good film and I want everyone to see it.” — Shimamura Charlotte, on the film she saw that day
Her mangrove tree farm did not go as well. She said the mangrove trees had never grown, spent several minutes checking the setup and could not find the cause. Later in the stream a viewer wrote that a 3x3 layout grows mangroves poorly and a 5x5 layout is better, and she said she would rebuild the farm that way.
Between building, she talked with chat. Noting that it was a holiday, she said she had gone to the cinema alone that day, only the second time this year. The film followed a woman diagnosed with cancer who becomes pregnant and gives birth, and she said she cried four times and got through it with a towel. She called it a film she wanted everyone to see but did not expect to watch twice. She also said she had started waking at noon again, now on day two, and asked chat about working hours, from the office day shift to night shifts, and about warehouse jobs.
Before closing she took a screenshot of the finished stretch of the build and asked viewers to pose for it, and she thanked viewers for three Super Chats. She said she would open another stream at 9 o’clock the next day.
