Cersea Soulstorm Meets Ziz in NIKKE Chapter 37 and Invites Viewers to Her Wedding Day

CHROMASHIFT — Cersea Soulstorm played through Chapter 37 of NIKKE’s story on her channel, met the character Ziz as she fell into the scene, and closed by telling viewers that the next day would be her wedding day, with invitations going out to all of them.

She opened by apologizing for being late. She had been “going through it,” she said, and had taken some deep breaths. She told anyone else having a hard time to “remember that you are loved and you are cared for,” and thanked her team and community before turning to the game.

One story scene turned on Dorothy’s video channel. Another character discovered that it showed a single promotional clip, “Eden Paradise on the Surface,” on an endless loop: a landscape shot with a voiceover saying the last piece of paradise on the surface awaits. The character pulled up the channel’s viewership figures and declared, “I’ve never seen such miserable statistics.” Soulstorm said it might be the funniest thing the writers had done to date. Chat piled on, calling the channel “one of those gimmick channels that uploads the exact same video every day” and “terrible promotion.”

In a later scene, as Laplace talked up an upcoming upgrade, the dialogue reached the word “debauchery.” Soulstorm balked at how to say it (“not twice in one stream,” she said), settled on something like “debaobao” and laughed it off. Chat offered pronunciations of its own and assured her that “pirates aren’t supposed to be literate.”

Ziz arrived by crashing out of the sky. Chat filled with welcomes, and Soulstorm said it was the first time she had gotten a real close look at the character’s design. She admired Ziz’s big eyes and said a piercing with a cuff and chain reminded her of herself at 12, “trying to be super edgy.” With the stream billed as played with an eye tracker, she asked “Where do I look?” and chat joked that it was the worst time to be using one. Two Super Chats arrived while Ziz was on screen. Later, Ziz dove at the group and was met by Laplace and Drake, a clash that sent a shockwave through the ground. Ziz’s wings blocked a drill strike and she retreated, saying she would have done better with backup. She added that she knew when to call for it, and Soulstorm agreed that it was “a very important skill.”

Near the end she pointed out details of the chapter’s map, including how the silver liquid seemed to gray out whatever it touched. Then she said, “Tomorrow is the day,” and promised to send everyone an invitation to her wedding. She asked guests who wanted a plus-one to let her know in advance but said Ziz was allowed, and added that there would be an open bar, “but don’t get too wasted.” Tomorrow’s stream is to include pulls for new units and a look at the developer notes and the update, with dailies done before the update begins, and she hopes to play Chapters 38 and 39 next week. She signed off by raiding another channel, while chat filled with requests to bring along a guest of its own.
