Seven Streamers Play Lockdown Protocol Together as Elaine Celestia Draws Employee Again

INDEPENDENT — Elaine Celestia drew the employee role round after round in a Lockdown Protocol collab on Thursday, and a final round with five dissidents did not change that. Key Oriesa, Elaine Celestia, Reynard Blanc, Selia Aisnith, Rijii, Ave Kanehoshii and Harris Caine each streamed the session, which ran a little over two hours, from their own channels. Lockdown Protocol is a multiplayer social-deduction game in which employees finish tasks while dissidents try to kill them. Unlike Among Us, it has no voting, so a suspected dissident can simply be attacked.

Key Oriesa opened with a roll call of the chat and told viewers the night was a break from roleplay streams. Two newcomers to the group were introduced to the others before the first round, and several players were still relearning the controls. Reynard Blanc said on the channel that the game was new and described the evening as practice for meeting new people the next day.

The first round ended about 16 minutes in, when a detonator blast killed everyone in the lobby. Later rounds settled into the game’s task loop: restoring power with batteries and fuses, sending files between office computers, delivering packages and assembling a sushi-style dish from rice and fish. Dead players could be revived with batteries and defibrillators, and ice cream and cookies restored health, which players also used as improvised weapons.

Selia Aisnith held the dissident role in several rounds, and Rijii was revealed as a dissident in a later one. Players argued over who could be trusted, and one round ended with several players dying in quick succession, which drew laughter in chat.

Elaine Celestia, meanwhile, stayed on the employee side. Chat kept a running tally of the streak, and Elaine Celestia said on the channel that being an employee every time had become tiring and that a turn as the villain was overdue. When the players joked about setting a dozen dissidents for the last round, the lobby settled on five, and Elaine Celestia was again not among them. Elaine Celestia said afterward that the game might get uninstalled, and that another title would be suggested if invited to play it again. Key Oriesa said it was a pity that Elaine Celestia had to play the good side all night.

Key Oriesa closed by thanking the players and viewers, then said travel to the city was planned for either Friday or Saturday, so one of those streams would be swapped for another or a day off taken. The schedule for this week went up late, Key Oriesa said, and next week’s should come earlier.
