Anya Melfissa Skips a Bugged New Song During hololive Dreams Halloween Stream
The song froze her game on the start screen, and later disappeared from the game altogether.
HOLOLIVE — Anya Melfissa abandoned a newly added original song in hololive Dreams after it froze her game on the start screen, then watched the song vanish from the game entirely later in a Halloween-themed stream that ran just over two hours.
She opened the stream by claiming the game’s free 10-pull and chose Raden as her pickup character, but the pulls went poorly. She said she would not pull on every banner because she was broke, and asked viewers to send a Super Chat if they wanted her to pull. She then moved on to the Halloween event songs, starting from the lowest difficulty and working up through levels in the high 20s.
“Dude, I could have sworn. You guys saw it too, right? It wasn’t just me, right?” — Anya Melfissa, after the new song vanished from the game
At about 53 minutes she picked the new original song, which chat identified as a Miko song. The game went silent and stuck. Anya Melfissa asked viewers to check their own copies, and concluded that the song itself was bugged. “Let’s not play that song,” she said, and switched to another track. Later, as the stream struggled with connection trouble that she and chat blamed on YouTube, chat noticed the song had disappeared from the song list. Anya Melfissa joked that the whole thing might have been a shared hallucination, and asked for 5,000 apology gems.
The rest of the night went better. She said she had been playing badly after days away from the game, and chat cheered several all-perfect clears. After switching her note timing back to her usual setting, she full-combo’d a level 28 song on her first try. She also took on the event’s Core Unbreakable track, and called a Biboo song an energy-draining level 28.
Near the end she thanked viewers for the Super Chats, six in all, and answered one viewer’s question about toast or rice. She said she had a recording at the studio that evening, asked for recommendations for a horror game she could finish in about an hour, and said she expected to stream again the next afternoon.
