Akugaki Koa started a new playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077 from the very beginning, calling it the longest series on her channel. She said she had already finished the game, nearly 100 percent, and was coming back to enjoy the story with her viewers. She asked chat to avoid spoilers so that the late game would not be ruined for anyone.

Before the game began she turned on a nudity filter and kept her own panic button ready as a second safeguard. She chose the regular start rather than the Phantom Liberty expansion, picked normal difficulty and the corpo background “for extra immersion,” and spent a long stretch in the character creator, matching V’s look to her own blue-highlighted hair. She also told viewers she was not looking for advice and wanted to play her own way.

“I really want to play my own way... even if it’s a messy way, I want to play my messy way.” — Akugaki Koa, while building her character

The stream followed the corpo opening: the Arasaka counterintelligence office, an order from V’s boss that turned sour, and the loss of everything V had. From there it moved on to the rescue of a kidnapped target with Jackie, a visit to the ripperdoc Vic, and a meeting with the fixer Dex, who offered a job to steal a prototype chip from Arasaka. Koa played loudly and messily by her own description, saying she is not stealthy and that she was going for “chaos and nothing else.” She finished the evening in the planning for the hotel heist, after a first fight with the Maelstrom gang over a combat bot.

Chat answered with thanks and good-night messages as the stream closed, and the stream drew seven paid messages. Koa said she would play Minecraft the next day, a Friday, and return to the Cyberpunk story the following week with the hotel job.
