Vantacrow Bringer Gets a Burger-Shop Delivery Job on His First Night in District V2

After a long login queue and repeated server kicks, the Nijisanji EN streamer passed a group interview and spent the rest of the night learning to cook.

Vantacrow Bringer, a member of Nijisanji’s EN Krisis group, got his first job in the Grand Theft Auto V roleplay server District V2 on Tuesday, passing a group interview at a burger shop called Senor Buns after more than an hour of connection trouble. The stream ran about three hours and 11 minutes.

He opened by saying he knew almost nothing about the game and was not excited for it. He said he had played only a few heists in GTA Online years ago, had skipped the first District V season, and does not usually like roleplay servers. Asked how long he would last, he called 30 minutes “the most fair” guess and said a full day would be a big overestimate. If he did not enjoy it, he said, he would tell viewers and take the server’s run as a two-week stream break. His only goal, he said, was to be a delivery driver.

“I just want to be employed. That’s it. That’s my only goal in life right now.” — Vantacrow Bringer, while waiting to load in

Getting in took most of the first hour. The server needed 420 separate downloads, and once he loaded in he made a new character on stream, fighting the skin and hair menus and settling on a cap and white Vans. A server-wide disconnect then kicked players out, he stepped away briefly, and more kicks followed. He told chat the game was doing its best and that he was in no rush.

Inside, he met other players who were also hunting for jobs and phones, and about an hour and 40 minutes in he was hired during a group interview at Senor Buns. The owner had him repeat a pledge to wear the red uniform and deliver burgers “with the speed and grace of an eagle.” Putting the uniform together took another stretch of fighting menus and a trip to a clothing store, after which he asked chat, “Are you proud of me yet? I haven’t given up yet.”

No deliveries came through. With no car available, he and his new coworkers spent the rest of the night learning the shop’s cooking and register systems, exchanging phone numbers and clocking in. By his count he made about 30 burgers and 10 hot dogs, and he received a first paycheck. He logged off after the shop closed for a trip to a church service, said it had been a lot for one day, and raided another streamer’s channel. He said he might be back the next day for about the same length of time, depending on his schedule.
