Mori Calliope Hosts Four-Way Board Game Collab With Kyoko, Ina and Nerissa
The 142-minute stream moved from The Game of Life to Apples to Apples and ended with an announcement about a Jump King race on the 30th.
HOLOLIVE — Mori Calliope hosted a four-player board game collab on her channel, playing The Game of Life and then Apples to Apples with Hyakuto Kyoko, Ninomae Ina’nis and Nerissa Ravencroft. The stream ran 142 minutes under the #calliolive tag.
Calliope opened by introducing herself as the owner of the channel, a Hololive English -Myth- singer-songwriter and Shinigami aiming to be a virtual rockstar. The guests then introduced themselves in senpai order, with Nerissa billing herself as Hololive Advent’s devilish diva. Calliope said she had bought the board and had already explained the rules to her guests, and she narrated them for viewers as play began.
“Life doesn’t make a lot of sense.” — Mori Calliope, Hyakuto Kyoko, Ninomae Ina’nis and Nerissa Ravencroft, after a Game of Life card
In The Game of Life, the four started college, spun to graduate, drew careers and filled their cars with partners, children and friends. Action cards brought lawsuits, a dance-off, an ice cream flavor contest and a string of bank payouts, and the table spent much of the game making change at the bank. One player invested in her own business with a pitch for what she called anime muppets. Nobody was ready for the first retirement bonus until around the one-hour-ten-minute mark, and the group ruled that a retired player could still be charged by the others.
When the final fortunes were counted, totals ran from roughly 1.4 million to 1.6 million, and Calliope placed fourth, which the table noted was the Shinigami’s number.
After a short break the group moved to Apples to Apples, with Calliope teaching the rules. Rounds turned on Baby Yoda, ninjas, zombies and a public toilet, an extra card turned up in one round and had to be sorted out, and the last stretch became a tiebreaker in which players pleaded for the cards they needed to reach ten.
At the close, the group thanked viewers, and a Jump King race on the 30th, with two of the participants taking part, was announced. Chat filled with hearts and thanks for the collab, and the stream drew 31 Super Chats.
